Curated by New Zealand photojournalist Wade Goddard, the Museum War Photo Limited intends to expose the myth of war. The exhibitions contain photos of wars fought in Yugoslavia and cover a multitude of conflicts across the world. The Museum War Photo Limited believe in letting people see war as it is, raw, venal, frightening, by focusing on how war inflicts injustice on innocents and combatants alike. The museum exhibits are the work of world-renowned photojournalists including Peter Northall and Eddy van Wessel. Part of the collection is focused on Dubrovnik, the city under siege during Yugoslav army occupation. The collections from the museum have travelled across the world to universities and schools and emphasise the cruel intentions and outcome of wars. The heart-wrenching photographs from war-torn zones highlight the misery of its inhabitants and destruction of places and roots. The compelling exhibition will leave a lump in your throat and make you question the ugly reality of our times.
