A well-designed space on the first floor of this delightful hotel that has taken the city by storm, Oregano has an open kitchen, and is presided over by an Italian chef. The upshot is that you'll be offered a small menu, but one that is changed frequently. Expect seldom seen starters like Pan-Fried Chicken Liver cooked in Balsamico on Bruschetta or the sophisticated Pistachio Crusted Sea Scallops, Citrus Salsa, Micro Salad. Though it serves authentic Italian food, Oregano is not stuffy about allowing young children in and serving pizza: it does both! Look out for Ossobucco or Braised Lamb Shank with Saffron Risotto. Bursting with flavour. And the Tiramisu is sinful. P S: Enjoy the Sunday brunch from noon to 4pm.
