The Project

Close to 20000 sq feet of serenity surrounded by lush landscaped greens and if you’re lucky, you could even spot a deer or a peacock as you wait for your aperitifs to arrive. This recently refurbished restaurant has the lovebirds in the capital swearing by its name. The Project at the Hauz Khas Village offers one of the best al fresco dining options in Delhi in addition to its indoor dining area that hardly appears to be disjoint with the exteriors thanks to its all glass ‘wall’. Situated within the ultra green premises of Deer Park in Hauz Khas Village, this restaurant is quite literally, far from the madding crowd.
An extensive drinks and food menu have retained the favourites of the earlier ‘Park Baluchi’ that is now ‘The Project’. The tikkas and kebabs are delectable hence are most of the platters. The restaurant also has a wood fired oven that serves an interesting range of gourmet pizzas. For those who like their Chinese in addition to the pizzas and pastas, there is adequate variety as well. Reserve for special occasions.
