You can either opt for the thalis or go a la carte. The Mahabhog Thali and the Rajbhog Thali are elaborate fixed menu meals which include delicacies like Shukto, Bati Chingri, Doi Ilish, Chingrir Malai Curry, Murgir Jhol, Kosha Mangsho, Aamer Chutney, Chhanar Payesh and Malpua. On the a la carte are the not-so-common yesteryear dishes like the Gachpathar Malai Curry, Kumro Patay Mora Chingri Paturi, Dhumragondhi Ilish, Rui Machher Patishapta. Their festive season promotions are huge crowd-pullers, not only for the delicious fare but also for the traditional delicacies on offer. Reservations are advised, especially for the weekends. Expect to pay five-star prices.
