The youngest speciality restaurant at Taj Bengal, Souk offers contemporary Mediterranean fare. The menu comprises robust tastes of Lebanese mezze, Moroccan curries, Greek seafood, Syrian kebabs and Turkish grills with their distinct flavours of aromatic spices and imported ingredients. The Syrian chef has added an elaborate vegetarian section in the menu because of the local demand. It is open for lunch and dinner for buffets and a la carte every day other than Mondays. The innovative Hot and Cold Mezze, classic Hummus, Halloumi Cheese and Falafel make a good start. For non-vegetarians, the Calamari Salad, Samak Meshwi and the Minced Lamb Deep-fried Balls excite the palate. Plush, understated interiors with private dining sections all contribute to a wonderful time here.
