Tuskers is the only five star vegetarian restaurant in Mumbai, part of the stylish Sofitel at Bandra Kurla Complex. But that’s not the only reason why you should pay Tuskers a visit. Come here for authentic Rajasthani and Gujarati dishes soaked in ghee and resplendent with the taste of kher sangri, mint and coriander. It is perfect for elegant family outings that call for large and varied tureens of vegetarian dishes, ranging from kofta curries to dal panchmel and raw banana preparation. The bartender whips up a mean vodka martini, so if you’re a vegetarian with a cocktail connoisseur’s heart, you know where to head. Tuskers boasts an extensive bar menu and chefs who cater to your every taste and demand. The restaurant sometimes hosts patrons for an evening of wine and vegetarian food pairings. The décor is also quintessentially Indian and it’s quite possible that the family at the next table would be conversing in cheery Gujarati or Marwari. Among the starters, the classic bharwan paneer and Amritsari mirch ke pakode are worth trying and if you have the appetite for it, then dig into some dal baati churma for mains.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
