Just two minutes from the international airport, this would a great option for those transiting through the city. This luxury hotel’s imposing façade resembles an affluent Maratha fort with glorious architectural flourishes. Step inside and history takes a backseat to best-in-class facilities and amenities comparable to any five-star in the world. With a wide range of rooms and suites to choose from, we would recommend the higher floors and the rooms away from the lifts if you have the option to pick. If you pick the ‘Executive Club’ room, you would be provided complimentary breakfast and would be entitled to pick from the happy hours bar menu every day. If you’re picky about the view from your room, request the reception staff for an ITC One room that affords unparalleled views of the pool, which is by far the best sight to wake up to while staying here. Their in-house 24-hour restaurant, Peshwa Pavilion is housed in a massive atrium with palm trees and serves Indian and Continental favourites. But the hotel’s star attraction has to be the in-house Mughlai restaurant, ‘Peshawari’ that dishes out fine-dining versions of North Indian staples like ‘Dal Makhani’, ‘Paneer Khurchan’ and ‘Peshawari Kebabs’.
