There is a luxury houseboat doing the rounds on Kerala backwaters

Kerala houseboat experience has changed for the better, thanks to Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, and its luxury backwater experience. The first-of-its-kind luxury houseboat is going to elevate your experience here, giving you stupendous views of the surrounding area.

The luxury experience is possible in a floating mansion that was built for INR 3 crore, and is called Nattika. The houseboat can be booked for half day, or full day cruises through the scenic backwaters of Mulavukad, Moolampilly, Vaduthala, Chittoor, and Kadamakkudy to Eloor. A total of ten guests are allowed aboard the luxury houseboat, which has two bedrooms.
The luxury houseboat comes with numerous amenities, such as WiFi, air-conditioner, video games, board games, smart TV, just to name a few. The boat has a massive living area on the upper deck, besides the wonderfully spacious and cosy bedrooms, plus, it is eco-friendly as well. The upper deck even has a dining area, lounge, and balcony, so you are really in the lap of luxury while bobbing on the backwaters. There are provisions for music, and other entertainment programmes here on board, so never a dull moment!

Nattika is actually licensed to carry 40 passengers, but it is going to offer cruise for two families for now, each with a maximum of four members.Then there is the joy of trying some of the very best local delicacies in the houseboat, and as we all know that Kerala cuisine is supremely diverse, this will be a fantastic treat for people who love to eat.
You can book this for a full day at a rate of INR 60000, which will let you cruise along selected routes. Half a day’s experience will cost INR 40000. There is also the option to stay overnight, priced at INR 80000.
