A quaint, family-run property, the Fort House Hotel sits right by the side of the Old Synagogue in Fort Kochi. It has a line-up of 16 spacious, well-furnished rooms set in the middle of a lush spice garden. All the rooms are air-conditioned and exhibit the Kerala style of architecture. The very scenic Kerala backwaters are right across the garden, making for a perfect coffee spot. Travellers can also access the Ayurveda centre run in the hotel for a relaxing time in Kochi. The hotel also has a multi-cuisine waterfront restaurant that is quite loved for its seafood specialities such as Kerala exclusive karimeen curry.
