The main idea behind this masterpiece is to make the house blend in with Joshua Tree National Park's natural beauty to make it look like an extension of the park.
Design
The architecture of the house is minimalistic and simplice but supremely clever! The place is built using sustainable materials and modern techniques. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views of the desert. But, the speciality of this house lies in its exterior.
It has a unique mirrored façade that reflects the desert's surroundings. Because of its exterior, an optical illusion is created that makes it appear almost invisible to those crossing the region. Come night and the big windows and skylights offer uninterrupted views of the sky full of twinkling stars.
Another striking feature of the property is its swimming pool. The 100 ft pool, stretching the length of a wall, offers dramatic views of the never-ending desert and sunsets.
Saving Nature
The architects of this masterpiece have made sure to minimise the environmental impact of the structure. All the materials used are sustainable. In fact, every inch of this stunning abode is designed with care and ecological responsibility. There are efficient rainwater collection systems and solar panels too.
As of now, this private property is available only for filming, photography and intimate events.
