A 40-minute drive from crowded London and here we are at The Grove, a peaceful and romantic country retreat with a unique traditional architecture. Green meadows and a picturesque lake surround the property creating a very fairytale-like ambience. The impressive mansion harks back to the 18th century, with all its Victorian loveliness and sophistication. As a curiosity, The Grove is the exact place where the Harry Potter crew hung out while filming the fantasy flicks. Not surprisingly the place evokes images of sorcery and enchanting tales.

The 18th-century mansion was the seat of the Earl of Clarendon and occupies 300 acres of parkland, with an ancient Walled Garden, a private beach and beautiful bluebell groves. The Grove is home to one of England’s finest luxury golf courses, open all year round and there are a number of outdoor activities to choose from including tennis, croquet, football and volleyball. For those who'd rather stay indoors, there's a old-fashioned snooker room. Spa-enthusiasts can pamper themselves at The Grove’s award-winning spa—Sequoia.
