Goa inspires thousands of travellers every year, and plays an enchanting tune of love like no other. If you thought Goa couldn’t get any better, then we are here to ask you to hold that thought; as now you can stay at this 350-year-old bungalow in Cuelim village in south Goa.

The suites are large with modern amenities for the discerning traveller. You have the balconies done in Baroque style carvings, overlooking the lawns and further into the paddy fields. The property also has two chapels, one of them housing Mother Mary that was imported from France. The chapel dates back to nearly 250 years, and gets a lot of sunlight inside it through the tall windows that are fixed on both sides. You can also take part in certain leisure activities here – a swimming pool, a badminton court, and hammock on the laws, among other things. Of course, your trip wouldn’t be complete without you trying the prawn biryani here.

Apart from this mesmerising property, the quiet little village of Cuelim is quite a beautiful place for a stay. The village has its own beach, and is all the more beautiful during the monsoon season.
