Located at the end of Quai Wilson, Mon Repos Park was the first public garden to be opened along the lake shore, after it was given to the city in the will of scientist Phillippe Plantamour in 1898. Gorgeous park and playground by the lake
Noteworthy for: Parc Mon Repos is the starting point for Geneva's Lake Parade, a techno parade featuring club floats that is held along Geneva's shore every July.
It's a great place for lounging around during good weather, but be aware that there are no refreshment stands or shops within the park, so if you plan to stay a long time you might want to stock up on the quayside before entering.
