If live gigs are what get you going, then look no further than Araf, located on the rooftop in the backstreets of the Beyoğlu fish market: the in-house gypsy band belts out everything from world fusion to gypsy punk and even grunge! Those sticking around past midnight can shake a leg as the DJ takes over the console and plays popular dance and techno. Something here for jazz lovers too: the well-known clarinet player Selim Sesler takes the stage every Tuesday. Araf is a great place to mingle with fellow travellers – you’ll find people from all over the world including tourists, students, and expats who’ve made the city their home. The deal clinchers are the affordable prices and there’s no cover charge either.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
