London's very first pub theatre, the King's Head Theatre is tucked away behind a Victorian watering hole on Islington's Upper Street. After new management took over in 2011, it stands today as a fringe opera venue, with OperaUpClose as the in-house repertory company staging musical theatre, dance and plays.
