Pisco is everybody’s drink of choice in Peru. The pale-coloured brandy is made from distilled grape juice and is available even in the smallest of restaurants and bars in Peru. In fact there is a constant battle between Peruvians and Chileans about the origin of Pisco—it is the subject of many heated debates because every Peruvian we met went out of his way to tell us that the spirit was first made in their country. At Chilcano in Cusco, Pisco is the one drink you shouldn’t miss. This local hangout is fast becoming popular amongst tourists. But even so, you will see more Peruvians than tourists here. The quality of the drinks is excellent and we would recommend everyone to taste the ambrosial passion fruit Pisco. If passion fruit doesn’t tickle your taste buds, you needn’t worry. There is no dearth of options at Chilcano’s and they can mix a drink to suit most tastes. But that’s not all—it’s also possible to get a delectable meal, bursting with local flavours at Chilcano Pisco Bar. The dimly lit bar, buzzing with activity, is a perfect hangout for a fun evening out with friends.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
