Easily the most celebrated street performers of Prague, the levitating monks have managed to successfully pull off one of the most bewildering illusions of our times. They are no David Copperfields or Harry Houdinis and despite that fact, their floating acts have seemed to defy the laws of physics and amaze people. Dressed as Indian Yogis who are known to have the powers of levitation, their act, if experts are to be believed, is nothing short of a dupe. With strategically placed steel plates and rods, they have fooled people for what could possibly be years and the pretend meditative pose only adds to the theatrics. Read less
