Two Italian sisters visited Costa Rica in 1996 and were inspired by the colourful artistic culture in the country. They moved back to Bali and decided to take their inspiration with them to the island. Puravida took root from that inspiration, as they continued to create from art, books, music and films. Puravida has evidently grown far from its roots, with flagship stores in populated areas and concessions in major Indonesian department stores, the brand has even reached global recognition. Customers come from all over the world including America and Europe and use the wholesale distributor to take the products back to their respective countries in bulk.Puravida’s products are made through the most ecologically friendly methods, dying in a ‘green way’ and embellishing all the items by hand, each piece is unique and to be treasured as such.
