Word to the wise: Take some time to admire the charming 19th century townhouses surrounding Birkelunden Park, which have had protected status since 2006.

Each Sunday, Birkelunden Park hosts a hugely popular flea market. Fashion devotees jostle with collectors and bargain hunters as they trawl through a seemingly endless array of vintage clothing, costume jewelry and antique furniture.
It's also jam-packed with the flea market staples: old vinyl records, books, electrical goods and curios. Most of it's of questionable quality, but persevere and you may just turn up a hidden treasure.
