Celuk Village

Celuk Village is renowned for products that display excellent craftsmanship with the local designing industry going back to the 1970s. The village is a treasure trove of traditional Balinese trinkets, earrings, brooches and other forms of jewelry in gold and silver and is today a major stopover for tourists from Denpasar and Ubud. Local artisans, who are experts at jewelry designing, can often be seen at work here. Understandably, this is a perfect place to hunt for souvenirs as well. Cheaper imitations of gold and silver jewelry can also be found in the village shops so it takes a keen eye to distinguish the imitation from the real. Great stop if you are inclined towards jewelry or design or both.
