Festinho brings a shot of the Brazilian life to the Tudor grounds of Kentwell Hall. Featuring what the organisers promise to be the best new acts from London to San Salvador, this terribly English setting gets strewn with Brazilian flags, doused in rum and caipirinhas, permeated with the scent of Brazilian barbecue and flooded with funk you can't not dance to.
Camping is part of the experience and if you can, the idea is to dance all night, then recharge in the morning with yoga before heating it back up with samba classes. As well as music across four stages and more genres, there's a percussion workshops and jam sessions, capoeira and film screenings—Brazilian films—but because this is a small festival their website also makes some pleasant commitments about hot showers and adequate facilities for all, including the kids who are welcome to hang in the play section.
