Whoa! Hard Rock Cafe really does rock. As the book goes to press, we pop in here to find it buzzing. It was one of the first places entirely devoted to the musical culture in Mumbai. Centrally located, this open-through-the-day fun chain serves up a seriously rocking buzz and live music paired with mountains of typical American food. Everything is outsized here... from the dramatically lit split levels, performance areas and mountains of food to the biceps of the young dudes. The DJ rocks this joint with amazing rock music. The food is super-sized too with prices to match. Chicken Tenders, Nachos with Sour Cream 'n' Cheese and the legendary 10 oz. Burger are a must try. Popular mocktails are Wild Berry Smoothie, Mango Berry Cooler, Crush Velvet, while Long Island Iced Tea, Mojito and Hurricane make up for the fave cocktails here. Martinis and flavoured mojitos too. Priceless memorabilia of rock stars (Spice Girls' shimmery hot pants and Eric Clapton's Versace suit) and 6,000 sq ft cafe space... that's Hard Rock Cafe for you. No entry fee and no cover charge here. Earnest, the manager, smilingly greets all at the door. rnP.S. Look out for the international band/artiste performance every 45 days!
