Go for a cruise around Hiroshima Bay. Owing to the fact that it is incredibly close to the Seto Inland Sea, water activities and transportation around Hiroshima’s many islands is quite popular among tourists. When in the city, you could go for a sunset cruise or book a yacht (if you can spend a lot of money) or even paddle a kayak to your heart’s content. While Miyajima Island with its Itsukushima Shrine and the massive Torii Gate is the most popular cruise destination, the Ferris Wheel that stands outside the Marina Hop Shopping Mall and the Yoshijima Incineration Plant are equally interesting sights along the bay.
