IRCTC’s Ram Sethu tour package will take you around 18 temples in southern India

The latest offering by the IRCTC is a 4-day temple tour package, which will be starting from February 28. The temple package has been named Ram Sethu Express –Tamil Nadu Temple Tour. This latest package has been launched in pursuit of facilitating pilgrims and devotees in their travel.

Indian Railways, over the past few months, has launched many packages in a bid to encourage more and more travellers to opt for trains and travel more. The latest tour package, i.e., Ram Sethu Express – Tamil Nadu Temple Tour, will start passenger services for the first time, which will offer travellers exclusive opportunity to witness the rich history, architecture and cultural treasures of Southern temples. Those interested in temple tour should not miss this golden opportunity as this package will guide you even through those temples that you might have not been aware of.
The said tour will be flagged off in the early morning of February 28 from Chennai at the Tambaram Railway Station and will reach Chennai on March 3. This temple package will be for 3 nights and 4 days, and will cover as many as 18 temples in Tamil Nadu. Some of the temples covered in this tour are Ranganathaswamy, Jambukeswarar, Samayapuram Mariamman, Thiruvanaikaval, Sundareswarar Meenakshi Amman, Navagraha, Brihadeeswara along with a holy bath in the sea. 21 Teerth Kunds have also been included in this temple tour.

The cost of this temple tour package will be INR 4885 per person. The package will include sleeper-class train journey, non-AC road transport for sightseeing, accommodation in dharamshalas, all vegetarian meals, security staff on train and service of tour escorts.
