Floatation therapy, the new craze to hit Winnipeg, is available at the beautiful Jellyfish Float Spa. What is floatation therapy? Simply put, it is a way to heal and soothe the body to de-stress and experience complete and total relaxation. Visitors here have the chance to experience floatation therapy in one of the high tech pods that are filled with 10 inches of water and over 1000 pounds of Epsom salt. Floatation time ranges from 60 minutes minimum to 120 minutes maximum, and the water is regulated as per your body temperature, ensuring you never feel cold. It is said that one hour is equal to 2-3 hours of deep sleep, and don’t worry if you drift off while you are in the pod, you definitely won’t drown as the salt will keep you afloat.
