If you're flying in on a low-cost airline like AirAsia, there's a good chance you'll land at this transport hub. If you have to transfer to KLIA for a connecting flight, allow for plenty of time to clear customs, catch a shuttle departing from outside the arrivals hall (or a cab, if it's after hours) to the KLIA terminal (20 minutes journey time) and check back in. Close to, but completely separate from, KLIA
Word to the wise: The LCCT is just across the tarmac from KLIA, but has a separate entrance nearly 20 km away by road. Avoid tight connections.
To get to the city, the cheapest option is the airport bus, which leaves from the stand next to the domestic terminal. Most buses depart when full, and the trip to KL Sentral station takes about 75 minutes. A handful of bus companies offer similar fares.
The next option is to catch the train link bus to Salak Tinggi station, where you'll connect with a fast train to KL Sentral station (around 40 minutes total travel time). Cabs leave from the taxi stand by the Coffee Bean outlet at the arrivals gate; purchase a coupon from the MIJ TAXI/VAN counters.
