The MacRitchie TreeTop Walk is a 250m stretch of free-standing suspension bridge in the middle of MacRitchie reservoir. It spans the canopy of the trees and with its highest point at 25m off the ground, it puts you at branch level and literally gives you a bird’s eye view of the surrounding flora and fauna. The TreeTop Walk is the first of its kind in Singapore and connects the two highest points in MacRitchie - Bukit Pierce and Bukit Kalang and is narrow enough that bridge traffic has been designated as one-way, so make sure you find the right entrance at the Ranger station via Pierce track. It would be more popular, but it definitely is not the easiest place to get to and takes quite a bit of a hike to reach - the distance is about 4.5km from MacRitchie Reservoir Park, so be prepared to walk for around 1.5 - 2 hours (depending on your pace of course) just to get here! You could save a little bit of time and effort by entering the trail over to Venus Drive next to the Singapore Island Country Club, which is just 2.5km away and saves you about an hour’s trek.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
