A popular attraction for the tourist visiting the Mornington Peninsula, Manyung Gallery remains a favourite with the locals throughout the year. The Manyung Gallery is Victoria's oldest art space and has been running for over four decades. Housed inside a building inspired by a Tuscan castle, this visit will be about more than just the art on the walls. This old facade does not mean that Manyung is out of keeping with modern art, as it continues to draw the best exhibitions to the area. There are over 200 pieces on display at any one time, including a variety of different exhibitions and formats. In the 20 sub-galleries there are sculptures, oil paintings and more contemporary styles. The exhibitions change monthly, ensuring there is always something new for regular visitors. As well as the galleries, visitors can enjoy the beautiful Australian weather in the sculptured gardens, courtyards or on the beautiful moat and drawbridge. Finish your visit at the gallery in the fully licensed restaurant just across the courtyard.
