Music is a language that crosses boundaries, but it is also a medium through which one gets an insight into the life, culture and history of a certain community, country, city or group. And that is the reason why travellers from all parts of the world like to take a pause in places where music plays--they get a glimpse of the local culture of the place they are holidaying in. The Museum of Greek Popular Instruments in one place where you get to see the history of Greek music through the collection of more than 1,200 folk instruments that back to the 18th century. All of these instruments are exhibited over three floors along with headphones which allow visitors to listen to the sound of some instruments. During the summer months, live musical performances are held in the garden
