The last word in luxury spas, the Oriental spa offers a holistic combination of meditation, massage and natural herbal remedies. Guests take a boat ride to reach the spa, which is located across the Chao Phaya River from the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Following a private consultation with the therapist, each guest is prescribed a special treatment. These range from the traditional Thai massage to the relaxing jetlag massage, besides facials, manicures, pedicures and herbal body wraps. The spa also offers a special full-day Ayurvedic programme, which includes a range of traditional oil therapies, massages and yoga. The 15 spa suites have their own jacuzzi and steam rooms.
