Convenient transportation links to Oslo's three airports
Noteworthy for: Gardermoen's duty free shop is the largest in Europe.

Oslo's main airport is Gardermoen, serving nearly 20 million passengers every year. The Flytoget airport express train will whisk you from Gardermoen to the city centre in under 20 minutes, but be warned: it's expensive, even by Norwegian standards. The rival service run by Norwegian state railway (NSB) takes a little longer – in slightly less comfort – but is considerably cheaper. Tickets for either service can be bought from the numerous machines, which take cash and cards. Taxis are also easily available - expect to pay around NOK 600, more in the evening.
If you're travelling with a low-cost airline, you're likely to arrive at one of Oslo's other airports, Rygge and Torp. Although further away from the city, both are connected to Oslo Central Station by regular and reliable train services. Tickets include a free shuttle bus service from the station to the airport.
