Pedalling through Udaipur jungles for a cause

Bicycle expedition for a cause! A shout out to all the thrill and adventure seekers to take part in an expedition of their lifetime. The forest department (Udaipur wildlife circle) in association with Le Tour De India is going to organise one-of-a-kind four-day bicycle expedition for the cause of wildlife eco-responsible tourism. This unique bicycle expedition will start from November 29.
s per the latest reports on this regard, during this expedition, the cyclists will be offered a thrilling jungle experience amid the wilderness of Aravalis of Udaipur range. What is interesting to note about this expedition is that this four-day journey will let the cyclists venture into unexplored routes that are basically not accessible by tourists.

Chief Conservator of Forests Rahul Bhatnagar said that as per this initiative, the riders will be the guest of the forest department. The entire route will be around 220 KM, and the itinerary includes cyclists exploring the heart of the jungle where there are almost no trails. A lesser-known temple of the 10th century has also been included in the itinerary because of its historical significance.
As per the officials of the forest department, cycling inside the Sitamata Wildlife Sanctuary will expose riders to unexplored biodiversity. And this initiative will foster tourism and attract many photographers, bloggers and nature lovers in future.
Since there were limited seats available, the participants were selected on the basis of their ability to ride bicycle inside the jungle. Almost all the participants are cyclists, whereas some are trekkers, runners, and adventure lovers from different parts of the country.
