Zugspitze

The Zugspitze is the highest mountain in Germany, located in southern Bavaria near the charming town of Garmisch. The border with Austria runs right across the summit, which can be easily accessed via a spectacular cable car ride. The summit offers expansive views over the Bavarian Alps and nearby valleys with beautiful alpine lakes.
