It seems that everywhere you look in the city, someone is on a bike. And there is certainly no shortage of bike rental shops around the city. Luckily if you are only here for a short time, most of the hotels have bikes to rent, free-of-charge, contrarily you could also head to one of the many sports shops that rent them out by the hour or by the day. Now the decision is where to take these bikes. Popular spots to bike among locals include the Glenmore Reservoir, which is wooded and absolutely beautiful. The Bow River pathway is certainly one of the most popular trails in the city, it is easy to cycle here, and is wide enough for you to not worry about knocking any pedestrians down. One of the nicest times to ride this pathway is during the evening as the bridges light up, the bow towers shimmers in the moonlight, and the city is wears a stunning look after the sun sets. Pick up a cycle map from the City of Calgary which highlights distance and attractions along popular cycling routes.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
