2021 is a strange time. We are living in a sort of fear, and yet harbouring great dreams and aspirations for our lives. In such a condition, the only question that crops up in mind is, where to live? Which city after all is the safest to live in during this time of pandemic? Moreover, where can we find a high standard of living, and how well can we live? The answer to these questions have been answered, at least for 2021.
Osaka in Japan found the second spot this year, and was in fourth place in the 2019 survey. Australia did very well in the latest survey, with Adelaide grabbing the third spot, Perth in sixth position, and Brisbane in the 10th place. Melbourne on the other hand stood eighth alongside Geneva in Switzerland.
The survey looked at five broad categories, stability, culture and environment, education, healthcare, and infrastructure. New Zealand has some of the toughest lockdown rules that enabled the country to reopen, and allow its citizens greater freedom than other countries.
