Block the dates for Apricot Blossom Festival in Ladakh in April

Spring is a great time to be out and about and we are here to tell you that there’s a great way to celebrate spring this year. Come April 4-17, Ladakh will host the Apricot Blossom Festival, definitely a treat for the eyes and the soul.

This spring season, watch several areas in Ladakh come to life with apricot blossoms everywhere. Soft and tender baby pink apricot blossoms will be here in great numbers. They usually don’t last long, so get the best of these blossoms when you can. Needless to say, they make for great photos.

The festival is being organised by the Ladakh Tourism department. April will no longer be bone-chilling cold and, with a comfortably cool temperature, you can get the best of nature experiences in Ladakh.

At the Apricot Blossom Festival, you can expect vibrant cultural programmes that will showcase the colourful and unique culture and traditions of the Ladakhi people. The festival will also be a great time to pick out cool handicrafts. Local handicrafts are always a fun feature of the Apricot Blossom Festival.


The fun is not limited to sightseeing and cultural activities, you can also get locally produced items like apricot jams, dried apricots, juices and even wine!
