Delhiās Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI Airport), has now set up a rapid PCR test facility. The facility will be used by passengers, especially those who are flying to the UAE. UAE has lifted restrictions, and has made the Rapid PCR tests mandatory for travellers from India. Currently, India is operating flights from Kochi, Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi, and Trivandrum to the UAE.
The Genestring Diagnostic Centre that is set up at the IGI airport for COVID related testing, has announced that the rapid PCR test facility will be included as a facility henceforth.
She also said that passengers of Emirates, Etihad, Fly-Dubai, Vistara, Indigo, and Air India, will benefit from this new testing facility.
