Dubai is all set to introduce the world’s largest fountain

Dubai is a super gorgeous city, replete with modern-world charms. After building the world's tallest building, Bhurj Khalifa, the city is all set to unveil the largest fountain (also known as the Palm Fountain) in the world on October 22, 2020. On the same day, the city will register its name in the Guinness World Record for being home to the world’s largest fountain.

The fountain will find its spot at one of Dubai’s posh lifestyle and dining destinations called the Pointe. Sprawling over 14000 sq ft of sea water, the fountain’s super shooter will be 105 m tall. Not only this, it will be covered in more than 3000 LED lights!
It will have 20 bespoke shows and five different shows that will run on a daily basis between sunset and midnight (7 PM to 12 AM). A wide range of popular songs including Khaleeji, pop, classic, international and more will be played during these fountain shows, with a 3-minute performance every 30 minutes.

Beijing Water Design Technology’s chairman Xin Su said, “We are proud to be part of the design, build and operation of The Palm Fountain — an extraordinary feat. As one of China’s largest fountain specialists, this project was unique for us as we had the opportunity to tackle many firsts in ingenuity.”

The Palm Fountain is another spellbing addition to Dubai’s globally renowned landmarks, and is expected to be another charm for residents and visitors alike.
