According to the latest travel news coming in from Europe, vaccinated travellers could travel in the European Union this summer. Reports suggest that the European Union’s executive has recommended to allow foreign travellers from more countries enter the EU. This means that COVID-19 travel restrictions may be eased in the coming days.
According to the latest recommendations, the European Union could allow foreign citizens of those countries with a good epidemiological situation to travel. However, these citizens must be vaccinated against the deadly coronavirus. This recommendation is yet to get approved by the 27 member states of the European Union.
Out of the seven nations whose citizens are currently permitted to travel to the European Union, you have Australia, and Singapore. All that could change this summer, if the European Union decides to go ahead with the decision to allow vaccinated foreigners from other countries. Currently, the travellers from the seven countries are not required to be vaccinated, however, tests, and quarantine rules follow.
The new recommendations aim to rekindle global relationships in a safe manner, while also helping the travel industry to get back on track in the European Union. As of now, the pandemic is not over yet, and countries are reporting a deadly second wave. India is currently the country at the centre of this wretched global pandemic, with large numbers of infections and deaths.
