With a stunning climb of 1240 m (the UAE’s highest point) via millions of years old rocky limestone, it welcomes road trip lovers with some breathtaking vistas of the infinite desert. On a clear day, one can even spot Oman!
The findings came into light in some Instagram data. The Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road was recorded as the third most popular road trip, where people like to take pictures. There are some 4840 pictures taken per kilometre, which is incredible. In their research, the Pentagon Motor Group analysed nearly seven million hashtags that were related with the Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road.
The mountain is on the outskirts of the city of Al Ain. The city itself is extremely beautiful and quite popular on Instagram. The road leads to some incredible attractions that include ancient tombs, wildlife and hot water springs of the Green Mubazzarah, among others.
Number one and two positions were grabbed by the Great Ocean Road in Australia and Big Sur in California, respectively. The Great Ocean had 8418 and Big Sur had 5226 snaps taken per mile.
