KSRTC expands its Ambari Utsav sleeper bus fleet by adding 20 new vehicles, enhancing long-distance travel with innovative features. Launched by officials, these buses offer a comfortable 2x1 berth configuration, modern amenities, and improved safety measures. KSRTC's Managing Director, Anbu Kumar, emphasized the unique features of the Ambari Utsav buses, which have become highly popular since their debut in 2023. Each bus is 15 meters long and offers a 2x1 berth configuration, allowing it to comfortably accommodate 40 passengers.
This arrangement ensures a relaxing experience during overnight journeys, with ample space for passengers to rest. Additionally, the buses come equipped with modern amenities, including USB and C-type charging ports for added convenience, as well as a Fire Detection and Suppression System for enhanced safety.

The newly added buses will operate on key routes, connecting major cities such as Bengaluru, Kundapura, and Mangaluru. They will also offer direct services to Kempegowda International Airport, ensuring that travelers can easily access the airport. In addition, the Ambari Utsav buses will provide interstate connections to cities like Nellore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Kozhikode, improving long-distance travel options for passengers.
Equipped with advanced engine technology, the new buses promise superior performance and fuel efficiency. This makes them not only a comfortable mode of travel but also an environmentally friendly option, setting a high standard for state-run transportation services.
