The Electronic Travel Authorisation service (ETA) at airports in Sri Lanka is now going to resume, according to the government of Sri Lanka. The service is for fully vaccinated international travellers and is a way to make things easier on international travellers.
The controller general has however made it clear to travel operators that online ETA should be encouraged for incoming travellers so that there aren't any delays at the airport.
Sri Lanka is a major tourist destination, especially for travellers from the Indian subcontinent. The beaches here are widely appreciated, and are known for their virginal beauty. Sri Lanka has seen the highest tourist arrivals in September, with 13547 arrivals.
