’, has a new project in her kitty. She will soon be seen essaying the lead role in the upcoming TV show ‘Khukumoni Home Delivery’. The upcoming TV show seems to have an interesting storyline. As the title suggests, the story will revolve around a girl who runs a home delivery business.

Dipanwita is all excited about her upcoming project. This is her first TV show in a lead role. The actress played a negative role in Rezwan Rabbani Sheikh and Debchandrima Singha Roy starrer ‘Sanjher Baati’. She played Chumki’s character. Chumki was the step sister of protagonist Charu. Chumki and her mom played havoc in Charu’s life and caused her several sleepless nights. The show received a good response and is currently having a brand new season titled as ‘Sanjher Baati- Notun Prithibi’. The success of the original version inspired other regional TV channels to remake the show. ‘Sanjher Baati’ has been remade in Hindi as ‘Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha’,

’ and Kannada as ‘Akasha Deepa’.

While ‘Khukumoni Home Delivery’ is gearing up for its launch, Bengali television recently welcomed many new shows including Koneenica Banerjee, Indrajeet Chakraborty starrer ‘Aye Tobe Sohochori’, ‘Uma’ featuring Neel Bhattacharya and Shinjeeni Chakraborty, ‘Debi’. It will be interesting to see how the new shows fare on the TRP charts.
