Popular actress Dolan Roy is having a hectic shooting schedule these days. She will be seen in the upcoming Bengali television serial ‘Aloye Bhuban Bhora’, where she will play the role of the protagonist’s mother. The serial is based on the struggling life of acid attack survivors.

Roshni Bhattacharyya will play the role of the female protagonist in this serial. She will portray the character of an acid attack victim. Dolon will be seen as her mother.
Veteran actress Dolon said, “I am thrilled to do this role. I will portray the character of a woman whose daughter has been a victim of acid attack. My character is very strong. She provides mental support to her daughter to continue her fight against the social issue.”
The storyline of the soon to be aired show will revolve around the struggle of the female protagonist and her family. How she and her family have to face social stigma after the horrific incident forms the crux of the story.
Dolon who is working with Roshni for the first time is excited about the project.
As a senior artist, she is always helpful towards young actors. She says, “I love to work with the young brigade. In the mega serial Bhalobasa.com I have worked with very young and talented actors. As the shows move on my bonding with the other actors grows too. I am very much attached to my co-actors,” shares the actress.
