’, is spending her lockdown days quite effectively. Apart from watching movies and maintaining a strict workout routine, the actress feeds street dogs in her locality.

Sayantani makes sure that she goes out in her neighbourhood and feeds the animals who are otherwise starving due to the lockdown.

The actress has urged everyone to come forward and feed street animals in their respective neighbourhoods or keep the surplus food outside of their residence rather than wasting it.

The actress is an animal lover and never shies away stating her point of view when it comes to animal rights. Just like Sayantani, actors Debolina Dutta and her hubby Tathagata, Debopriyo Mukherjee, Sampurna Lahiri and many other popular actors have been vocal about feeding stary animals during the lockdown.

They have been constantly urging fans not to abandon pets due to Corona-scare.

Coming back to Sayantani, the good looking actress is playing the character Tanushree in ‘Alo Chhaya’, which narrates the tale of two sisters Alo (played by Debadrita) and Chhaya (played by Oindrila). Her on-screen character has grey shades and Sayantani enjoys playing her Tanushree. The actress has also done Bengali films.
