Ever since the teaser, followed by the promo of ‘Komola O Shriman Prithviraj’ went on-air, viewers have been eager to know about its launch. While the title of the upcoming show tickled the memories of all-time favourite movie of cine lovers, ‘Shriman Prithviraj’ directed by legendary filmmaker Tarun Majumder, released in the year 1973, the promos of the daily soap caught the attention of television audience for its humorous touch and interesting narration. Well, the show is set to launch this month, in an evening slot.
‘Komola O Shriman Prithviraj’, slated to premiere on March 13, will feature young artists Ayanna Chatterjee and Sukrit Saha playing lead roles. The upcoming show will feature an ensemble star cast. Senior artists Kushal Chakraborty, Abhijit Guha, Sohini Sanyal, Subhadra, and others will play prominent roles in this period-drama.
Meanwhile, young artists Ananya and Sukrit, who are playing the lead cast, have managed to win the hearts of the Bengali audience with their very first glimpse in the promo. Ananya and Sukrit’s khatti-meethi nokjhok, featured in the promo of the upcoming show, simply won the hearts of the audiences who have been looking forward to a refreshing change more because Bengali television is still dominated by saas-bahu sagas and mythological shows.
Prior to this, Ayanna played Mimi Chakraborty’s niece in movie ‘Mini’ and television show ‘Korunamoyee Rani Rashmoni’. Sukrit was seen in web series 'Srikanto'.
