The latest TRP report has some interesting changes in terms of the positions of top five shows. While there are some new entries into the top five club, a few popular shows have witnessed a dip in terms of TRPs. After ruling the TRP charts for several months, Adrit Roy and
Soumitrisha Kundoo
starrer ‘Mithai’ has lost its position to newly launched ‘Gantchhora’. Bengali TV’s favourite bahu Mithai and her beloved Uchche Babu’s charm couldn’t cast its spell on the TRP charts it seems. It has slipped to the fifth spot.
Solanki Roy and Gourab Chatterjee starrer ‘Gantchhora’, on the other hand, topped the TRP charts. The current story which is revolving around protagonist Khori’s life post-her accidental wedding with Riddhiman under unavoidable circumstances, has managed to impress the audience it seems. On the other hand, TV show ‘Dhulokona’ has bagged the second spot on the TRP charts. The musical face-off between protagonists Lalan and
Phuljhuri
along with some celebrity appearances in the show, seems to have worked in favour of the show. Recently, singer-turned-politician Babul Supriyo featured in the show. An elated Solanki has thanked fans for their show's success, too.
Sean Banerjee and
Srijla Guha’s ‘Mon Phagun’ is in the third spot. The difference between 'Mon Phagun' and 'Gantchhora' in terms of TRP is very less. The storyline revolves around Pihu and Rishiraj’s love-hate relationship. The presence of Rishiraj’s old flame Priyanka has spiced up the entertainment quotient for sure.
‘Alta Phoring’, which was launched a few weeks back, has sustained its viewership. It has bagged the fourth spot on the TRP charts. The show features Arnab Banerjee and Kalyani Mondal in the lead roles and has been scoring well since its opening week.
‘Uma’, ‘Aparajita Apu’, ‘Jamuna Dhaki’ which were mostly seen scoring well, are out of the top five shows this time.
