The actor, who is from Purulia, couldn’t visit his parents due to hectic schedule. “I couldn’t go home due to the shooting. So, I decided to start the day by speaking with my parents over a video call. We also spoke with Promita’s parents and sought their blessings,” he adds.
The celeb couple is busy with their respective television projects. Promita has recently joined the cast of popular period-drama ‘
Rani Rashmoni
’ and is playing a meaty role in the show. Rudrajit, on the other hand, is playing Turno’s role in
Indrani Dutta starrer ‘
Jibon Saathi
’.
“Due to professional commitments, sometimes we can’t get the chance to celebrate special occasions like others do. But that doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy the special moments. This is our first Noboborsho after the registry marriage and we will celebrate it in our way after the pack up. We might cook at home, watch a movie if time permits. For us, it’s all about togetherness,” says the actor.
Rudrajit and Promita’s love story which blossomed on the set of ‘Saat Bhai Champa’, found a happily ever after ending recently. They got hitched at Rudrajit’s native place. Newly married Rudrajit doesn’t miss a single chance to pamper his ladylove. They recently went on a romantic dinner. “All these small moments matter in life,” Rudrajit shared while signing out.
