The actor said, “I won’t be able to meet my family on Poila Boishakh. I will miss the special mangsho-bhat cooked by mom and every little thing that makes Poila

Boishakh

really special.”

The actor shared, he is unable to go home frequently due to hectic shoot schedule. He added, “I go home once in a year. When I have a project, I can’t leave Kolkata and when I don’t have one, I start looking for something new. Either way, I have to stay here. There are instances, when I was called for a particular project while I was away from Kolkata. It is a part and parcel of an actor’s life!” The actor shared that his parents regularly visit his place in Kolkata.

Suman shared that an actor’s life isn’t always as glittery as it looks. For the sake of a project , an actor not only has to work against the clock but are forced to miss the simple things in life.

“I miss out a lot. I couldn’t surprise my brother and his son on their birthday which falls on the same day. I can’t express how much I wanted to go. I couldn’t go home in December to celebrate my boumoni’s (bhabi) birthday. My brother’s son has all grown up and I have missed him growing up. I feel bad at times but the show must go on and you have to do your bit. Likewise, I won’t be able to go home this Polia Boishakh,” says Suman and his voice reflected his emotions.
