Ishti Kutum fame Ankitaa back on TV after five years
Ankitaa Chakraborty is back on the small screen after five years. The actress will play the protagonist in the mega serial Indrani. “I play Indrani, the titular character in this serial. She is a strong woman who goes through a roller coaster ride. Her mantra in life is to learn from every single experience and to her, judgment from other’s doesn’t matter. She is a single mother and develops a relationship with a young doctor. But there are other layers in this story too. The reason I accepted this character is because, Indrani has a lot of integrity which I loved and respect,” said Ankitaa. She added, “Recently, I opted for numerology and I’ve started adding an extra ‘a’ to my name. I get upset when people miss writing that extra a.”
